FEATHERSTON.
Mr. W. C. Buchanan has donated a twoguinea trophy to the local Gun Club. An offort is being made'to form a gun club in Martinborougb. A sweepstake match under the auspices of tho local Gun Club was fired oil Saturday afternoon in beautiful weather. A. G. Rhodes won the first , sweep, with J. S. Laurenson second. The next was captured by M. Ifyland with Laurenson second, and the last_ two divided the third sweep. A doublo rise was was won by A. G. Rhodes. Mrs. A. Burt (piano), Messrs. C. Burt (cornet) and W. Sorensen (violin), will provido the music at tho Liberal Club's social on Thursday.
