OPERA HOUSE. '- Tho audionco which gathered at tho Opera House 1 last' evening to witness the performance of "Her Lovo Against the World" showed its appreciation of tho interesting romanco in no uncertain manner, following tho fortunes of the fearless hero with rapt attention and. marking its disapproval of tho villain in a manner, which, brings a feeling to a villain that he must , have played his part well. Miss Madge M'lntosh.mado the best of her . opportunities as Princess Iris, and Miss. Lizetto Parkes *'as bright and pleasing as the youthful brother of tlio hero.' The piece will be staged again this 'oViiiiii2. THEATRE ROYAL. Thero was a largo attendance at tho Theatre Royal last evening, tho special -attraction being the appearance of Alberto, an expert ;in sleight of' hand tricks.' Tho how arrival was given a flattering reception, his patter appealing to the audicnco no less than than his finished sloight of hand work. Mr. Albert Lucas, Lijiroua, tlio Levartos, and Tod Calloway wcro ; all heartily applauded for their, contributions. A considerable-portion of the present company is about to take leave 'of' Wellington, and to-morrow night 'Mi3s Mr-ud Fanning,, tho Cainbry Sisters, tho Elliott Sisters, Lucy Fraser, .Arthur Elliott, Denis' Carney, and Martyn Hagan make their first appearance.
