A -DEPOT AT WORK. . ' Milk consumers will bo glad to hear that a large, number of the city milkmen havb arranged to have their milk supply inspected on the lines reco'nimohded by Dr. 'Mason, tlio Chief Medical Officer,' at' the confororice lately held in the Town Hall. Tlio milk will be'.taken to the depot' immediately "oii its arrival by train, and .after, being, inspected by the Health Department's officer will be under',his .supervision until it is handed out • to the various licensed milk vendors for distribution to. their customers. Not only tbo milk, but the horses, carts, and all the uten- • silo .used in connection with the milk, will bo 1 Eubject to rigid inspection.' It is claimed that.;iii view of the prevalence'of'sickness at the present time, and'the danger attached to the consumption of impure milk, the movement on the part.of the milk'vendors should meet with the approval of the public. 1
