The President of tho Board of Trade (Mr. Churchill) is. appointing a Departmental Committee to inquire as to how far and in what measure the' general supply, distribution, and prico of meat in the United Kingdom is controlled or affected by a combination of firms or companies. ■Lord Robert Cecil (Conservative member for Marylebohe East) is Chairman of the Committee, which includes four members of tho House of Commons representing tho Board of Trade and tho Board of Agriculture, also an export in the moat trado.
