OTAKI.
A ball, promoted by several ladies in Otaki, took' place in, the Town Hall on Friday night, when some forty couples attended, and on joyed themselves to the fullest extent. Feed is plentiful throughout tho district,, and on tho whole the weather is exceptionally favourable. With the exception of a few light .frosts and occasional showery weather, we have no cause for complaint.
