Tho Council 'of tho Australasian Lawn Tennis Association has decided that ,tho contest, for tho Davis Cup is to take place in Mclbourno on November 26,|27, and 28, sub T ject to tho approval of tho challenging team. This.ovent will be preceded by the Victorian championships, which will be held from November 14 to 21 inclusive. The Australasian championships will bo decided in Sydney from October 17 to 24, and it is expected that tho visiting teams will competo in 'this event. The Council has further decided that, tho Slazonger ball is to bo used in the Davis Cup match..
