Isaacs said.that thc\officcrs of tlio'lnstitute'had done a great deal of good,in a quiet and'unostentatious way in bringing its many members together, and iu obtaining from head office a proper consideration of their wishes, and ho was pleased to say that many suggestions made to headquarters had been favourably received. In reply, Mr. C. Batten stated that the Exccutivo had endeavoured to carry out tlio aims and objects of the Instituto faithfully. JLrcry reasonable request for the consideration of a case had received the fullest consideration, though sometimes, owing to itisuflicient information, they had been referred back 1 from head officcr Ho hoped " they would keep the flag living for the good of the service generally. Other toasts were " Kindred Societies," proposed by-Mr.-Dawson; "The Ladies," proposed by' Mr. Brennan, and responded to by Mr. Guinness; "Absent Friends," proposed by Mr. Moeller and responded to by Mr. Stratford; and "The Press," proposed by Mr. Francis. Songs, recitations, etc., wero contributed by Messrs. Hiitchcns, l'arkcs, Stephons, Pavitt, Dawson, Seaton, Roberts, O'Kelly, and White. Tho re-union waa thoroughly enjoyed by nil.
