Sir Thomas Bent objected to two members of tho deputation, and after a heated talk compelled their retirement. Then a member of Parliament who introduced the deputation got at loggerheads with ono of his proteges, t-ho'exchange of compliments resulting in tho Parliamentarian chasing the deputationist out of the room.
