In an action in the Admiralty Division of tho High Court, Sir John Gorell Barnes (President of tho Probatfc, Divorce, and Admiralty Division of the High Court of Justice), decided that tho cruisor Gladiator was alone to blamo for the collision with tho American liner St. Paul on April 25 last.

A court-martial reprimanded tho commandor of the cruiser Gladiator, Captain Wciltor Luiusden who was also dismissed his ship. It is reported that 23 men lost their lives on the cruiser.
