BOWLS.

KARORI CLUB. The annual meeting of the Karori Bowliiig , Club was held at the club's pavilion on Thurs-. day evening. A good number of members " were present. Mr. 'F. Behnett, president, was in; the chair. Tho report and balancesheet for tho past year were adopted. The following officers were elected:—President, , Mr. C. 1:1. Diokerson; vice-president, Mr. H. Cook; treasurer, Mr. S. B. Shortt; secro- - trtry, -Mr. W.-F. Newconibe; auditor, Mr. F. F. Shalders; general committee, Messrs, Dryden, J. F. Spiers, T. Campbell. Coopar, Eagle; Cox, Bennett, Sunley,' ana l'aplin; representative to Northern Bowling Association and Wellington Bowling Centre; "Mr." C. H. Dickerson. After the business light, refreshments were partaken of, kindly provided . by Mr. and Mrs. Bennett and family. A number of songs, readings, etc., helped to pass a very pleasant evening, concluding by all joining and singing " Aid Lang'Syne.
