By the s.s. Mooraki, which left Wellington oil June 11, Messrs, Dalgety aind Company, Limited, of Palmerston North, shipped to Sydney, on account of Mr. W. I. Lovelock, 55 Romncy' rams.. They are consigned for the firm's Sydney sales, which take plaoo on July 1. These sheep are'a good,'even strong-cohstitutioned line, and are remarkably *ell-grov.n. Tlio firm also advises having: sold to a local client, on account of tho samo vendor, a lino of 35 Romney ram lambs at a highly satisfactory' figuro. By tho Maheno last , week, Messrs, Levin and Company shipped some valuable horses for Sydney sales. They oomprised, from Sir. James Grant, of Havrcra, four Clydesdale colts, and from Mr. J. G. Duncan, four thoroughbred brood mares, consisting of the black Valais, ]iay Bona, chestnut 'Waiwhera, and bay Asteria. ' Mr. Grant won a first prize for n, three-year-old colt in the last. Sydney Royal Show, and tho animal was sold for 117 guineas. Ho was by the imported stallion Sandy Erskino. This feet should secure tho interest of Sydney horse buyers in Mr. Grant's present shipment'. . .
