— 0 The Colonfal Convention and annual meeting of the Now Zealand Allianco will commoncc to-day, and it is oxpectcd to concludo by Friday. About eighty delegates from all parts of tlio Dominion will bo present, and nearly all of thorn have already arrived. The meeting will summariso the results of consultations in tho various electorates. It is regarded as tho moat important convention yet held, as the organisation is stated to bo becoming more perfect, and tho central body more distinctly representative with each succeeding term-. A public meeting will be held at tho Concert Chamber of the Town Hall this evening, when Mr. Hansen (from Gothenburg, Norway) will bo among the speakers. °
