TE ARO BATHS.

Sir, —Allow mo spaco to df.iw attention to tho disreputable stato nf repair in.which t-lio IV Aro biitlis are at present. I was down for my usual dip this morning, and it was absolutely dangerous to swim, as tlio breezo yesterday practically demolished the outer portion of tho baths, and the timber was being tossed about inside. If' my memory is qorrect, ti:e Council over a year ago voted £1800 for improvements to the .baths, but nothing has been done. They nevw propose spending £2300. Bathers and health seekers would like to know when. Several attempts have been niado to repair tho baths, but as carried out it is waste of money. Now that demolition of tho baths has been started for tho Council, I trust thoy will go ahead and carry out tho proposed improvements without delay and cease their patch work.—l am., oto., p. W. M. Wellington, Juno 13.
