TRIANGULAR CRICKET.
SOUTH AFRICAN VIEW-POINT. W TELEGRAPH—PUUSB ASSOCIATION—COPTEICBI (Rec. Juno 12, 11.1 p.m.) London, June 12. In view of'the meeting of tho Counties' Committee on July 3, Major Wynyard, qn behalf of the South African Cricket Association, lias written to the Counties a letter in which he states that South Africa, regarding tho proposed triangular cricket contest from an Imperial point of viow, has been willing. to make some, sacrifice'. It is regrettable that'the Australian Board of Control does not view tho, matter in the same light, as tho scheme is experimental, and on a modest calculation would result, in profit to| the countries concerned. He trusts that the Counties will not as]v tho. South Africans to postpons their visit until tho, requirements of.the. Australians, aro. satisfied.
