PHARMACY BOARD.

, Tho Pharmacy Board of New Zealand resumed its sittings yestorday afternoon, when tho now _ syllabus for its Section A and B examination was fully discussed. Tho now syllabus will not come into oporation until May 1, 1911. It states moro definitely tho work required of candidates, and gives a prominent place to practical work. Additional regulations providing for tho establishment of a register of articles of apprenticeship, draftod by Mr. C. W. Nielsen, were discussed at longth and adopted. Thoy will como into operation at the oxpiration of three months from tho date of tho Order in Council. Their effect will bo to minimise groatly tho chances of bogus articles of apprenticeship, and meet difficulties often arising in tho cano of lost or destroyed articles. A\ number of motions of interest to the other centres dealing with tho conduct of local affairs were brought forward by Mr. Woodward, of Dutiodin, and adopted. Tho final sitting of the Board will' be hold this mornhuj.
