Tho body of Hugh Henry Laing, a single man, aged 40, and' a member of the Hobson County Couiicil, who was drowned while rafting in tho Tangowahine Creek oii June 5, was found yesterday, and at an inquest list night a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned. BODY FOUND HANGING. Dunedin, June 11. The body of Thomas Brown, a retired gentleman, aged about 60, was found hanging in tho bush at Caversham. Deceased had been suffering from melancholia, and it is supposed that he committed suicide.
