The fact that ladles predominate in tlio churches has caused, and is causing, considerable disensaion and no little uneasiness in Britain and hor'overseas dependencies and was touched upon bv Dr. Nisbct in the course of an address at the Burns Hall the other night (Bays tho "Otago Daily Times"). Dr. Nisbet noticed that "as usual, the women predominated over the men " that night. Ho was not surprised at that. Women predominated over tho men everywhere.
