Thero are two candidates for a vacancy on the Feilding Borough Council, caused by the resignation of Mr. Darragh, namely, Messrs. John Bartholomew and G. J. Webster, both of whom are familiar with the borough's affairs. Mr. Bartholomew has already had experience as a member of the council, and Mr. Webster was at one time the borough engineer. The election is fixed for next Monday.. ,
