, Though devoted to tho interests of his office, Colonel Templeton has taken an active part in matters of moSe general concern As .a member of the ROyal Commission on Friendly Societies, lie rendered valuable expert service; and as a member and acting chairman of the Royal Commission on Education, it becamo his duty , to draft its final report for presentation to Parliament.
