Frost, of Tuakau, for assistance for the Maoris in distress in the Waikato, tho former gentleman states that there had been a good response from charitably disposed peoplo. Over six sacks,of good.clothing havo been received and forwarded. The clothing was distributed amongst the Maoris from Huntly down to tho Waikato Heads, where the distress, was the most severe. Amongst those who clothes was Lady Stout.
