SETTLERS' REQUESTS.

As to a late train on Saturday night from tho Lower Ilutt to tho, Upper Jlutt ho thought tho request a fair one. Tho acquisition of the Upper ITutt rocreation ground would Lo before Cabinet shortly, and ho would communicate tho result to Mr. T. Wilford. Ho would also givo an early answer on tho request for an oxtra morning train from Lower Ilutt to Fetono for workors.
