At tlio weekly meetings of tho Boys' Department there were again big musters of tho lads. The members of tho junior branch assembled 74 strong at G. 30 p.m., and wcro soon interested in games; books, and other matters of interest. At 7 p.m. Mr. Pringlo, of tho Singapore Y.M.C.A., gavo a short address to tlio boys on tho religion of tho Hindus. 'Mr. W. CI. lloniery presided, and addressed tho lads, thanking them fortihoir kind consideration in his family bereavement. Mr. H. Thompson spoke 011 tho subject of "Stron™ Men and Favourite Musicians." At S pan"' the intermediate branch had their meeting, 'which took the form of a social gathering iMr. T. Plant presided over an attendance of 80. and Mr. Matlicsoii was at the piano. Mr. Raymond gavo somo very clever conjur- : »n triaks, which woro well apjjlauded.
