. A body of No-Liconse workers met in the Methodist - Schoolroom, Lower Hutt, -last evening, if or (tho purpose of forming a local branoh oommittee-of the No-Licenso-League. The /'Rev., R: Rot-hwell (was'' voted;' t-o; the chair.' After t-he Chairman had explained the reason why the meeting had been called, he asked tho general secrotary . (Mr. ( T.\ l'ownsend) to explain the. plan of campaign. The Re?. Mr. Marshall then moved that all present- form ( themselves into' a pomniitteo, with power's, to add to number; this was 'carried. - "The Rev. R./ltothwell was theri electfed chairman of committees,'. Mr. G. Aysbn was'-elected/'hon./ secretary, and the Rev., ; Marshall,' Messrs. Hanson, Heppie, - and; Alexander, the (chairman,' and .secretary were elected an executive, committee. A committee of-scrutineers, Messrs. Hanson (convoner), Skinner,' Heggio, Do Riddcr, with powor to add, was also formed.
