In conversation a "Truth". - reporter (says a, Christchurch Press Association message), the, Minister for Agriculture ' (the Hon., R.: M'Nab). stated, that the. new Dairy Regulations would be gazetted in the course of a few days. They had passed through his hands, and were now before .the Cabinet. , He noticed a newspaper telegram • recently stating that the dairymen at Otahuhu were complaining against the new regulations. -That clearly was . a mistake, as they could not possibly have seen the regu- . .lations.- ' He was hopeful that the neir regulations.; wo.ald give satisfaction. They were based upon' representations made by the .. dairymen-themselves, arid.in any case .they we're of a merely tentative nature, remaining in force for only twelve months.
