In America (writes our Wairarapa correspondent), thore is a breed of poultry known as the Columbian AVyandotte, evolved from a cross among Plymouth Bocks, Wyandottos, and Lipht Brahmas. A Wairarapa poultry farmer has worked out almost the same sort of fowl by crossing a Silver TVyandotto- hon with a Buff Orpington ; roostor, the difference being that the New Zealand production has no yellow legs.
