THEIR MISSION'' ENDED. NO REPORTS FURNISHED. The Minister for Agriculture states that Mr.■ D.' Caddie, Chief Dairy Commissioner, irid Mr. C. J. Reakes, Assistant Chief Votorinarian, are returning to Now Zealand. Mr. Reakes will leave in charge, as meat inspector in London, .1 veterinary surgeon who formerly , was'on the stall: in New Zealand. Probably. later. on a . dairy produce grader from the Dominion will visit London to tako up tho work inaugurated thero by Sir. Cuddio. As a lot of the work, mid most, of the research arc of a highly technical nature, they have not been mado the subjects of reports by. Messrs. Reakes and Cuddio, but these, ollicors will furnish tho Government with' all tho. information they possess on their return to tho _ Dominion. The object sought to be accomplished is to ascertain the effect, at tho end of a long sea voyago, of the work done for agricultural produce in New Zealand. With a knowledge of the facts, it is hoped to modify, alter, or extend tho local inspection and grading work-
