Atr.ery (Unionist) 4508 Liberal majority... ... ... 8 Liberal majority, 1906 ... 2865 Tho Catholic Bishop of Birmingham warmly supported Sir. Amery oil' account of the Government's education policy. BIG MARGIN NEARLY VANISHES. The last election at Wolverhampton East resulted as follows;— Sir H. Fowler (Liberal) 5610 Mr. C. L. M. S. Amery (Unionist) 2745 Liberal majority 28G5 It will therefore be seen that the Unionist candidate, Mr. -Amery, has increased his own total by 1761, and has reduced the Liboral majority from 2865- to 8.
