Tho Nelson Union' advised the .Union that thcro were 32 teams under its jurisdiction. , Tho Auckland Union intimated that it had appointed Mr. D. Gallaher as solo selector of its representative teams. : The Blenheim Union wrote stating that thei'o wcro eight senior, four junior, and five, third-class teams in . its district." . The Taranaki Union intimated that it had nominated Mr. I'. I:\ as a vicepresident oil the New' Zealand Rugby Union. The Hawko's Boy Union worn granted a further progress payment of £250 out" of the £1000 loan • from' tho; Union towards the cost of improvements to ground'. The' Otaco Union intimated' that there ivere .44 teams under its jurisdiction. It had'nominated Mr.' J. Hutchison; for the position of a vice-president on the "Union. ' ■■It .was resolved' that all 'unions bo asked 'to report as to tho best- available ;a(icommodation. for tho British team at their respective centres,' ' the. capacity.. of , their, grounds.'and grandstands, and expression: of opinion as to, what,charges should bo made; ■ , ..Tho North; Otago Union again -wrote suggesting that a match bo arranged at Oamaru with'tho British team. It was agreed to inform tho Union. that the Committee regretted its ; inability to give a match to North' Otago. ,Tho Green .Island '-CJub', which.-.was, > disqualified • by' tlio Otago Football Association, and has now. decided- to, play,.
