All the seven' Commissioners: were present,-' Mr- Beiigo in: the, eliair. . , .-The following appointments woro. nindo:—Mr. A. J. Jl'Curdy, clerk, licnlth officer and inspector: of nuisances; Messrs. Wilfnr'il ami Levi, solicitors; Mr, Stewart Alenzies, ranger; Mr. R. C. Dick, roadman nrid lamplipliter. The action of the chairman in arranging with the .Bank of . New Zealand for an overdraft up to i£3oo at G per cent, wiis approved. It was resolved that the dog-hix for the current year should be the saii'ie as that charged bv the Hutt County Council. The Works Committee was. authorised to have broken street lamps repaired.
