The Ferro-Concrete Company was citcd before the Arbitration Court yesterday on three charges of employing. carpenters before 8 a.m. without payment of overtime. Mr. K. I* I .' Moore, the Chief Engineer, in appearing oil the Company's' behalf, inquired why the men who were parties to the alleged broach were not cited also. His Honour observed that the Inspector could cite the men if ho liked; it was usual to do so." "Have you cited the workers?" asked His Honour, turning to Mr. Gresham, Inspector of Awards. "No," replied Mr. Gresham. "Why not? It is the custom to cite the worker as well when ho is a party to a breach of an award." The Inspector, howovor, offered no explanation.
