Creymoutii, April 22 ' The payment of tho £75 fmo was formally demanded of the Blackball Union to-day but it is understood the' demand has not 'been satisfied. ' , ■ A deputation from tho Union is likely to proceed to Christchurch to interview ' tho directors of tho company. Last night tho Buildprs' Labourers' Union voted £5 for tho Blackball miners .They intend to subscribo .tho same amount every fortnight, until-the. dispute is ended.Tho Inspector, of -Vehicles will'be in attendance at tho Wellington Corporation Offices from-9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily, to inspect vehicles for which licenses will, be roquirea. Mr. Townsend will address tho Miramar electors at Mr. Kobertshaw's rooms, Parle Road Miramar, to-night,' and on April 23, at 8 o'clock. ilr-ssrs.- Levien, Shallcrass and Co. will hold a sale of furnituro at' their rooms, Willis to-morrow, at 2 p.m.
