At a meeting of tho Executive Committee of , the Auckland Employers' Association the matter of Mr. Dixon's imprisonment at ;the instigation of one of his employees for having refused to obey the order of the Magistrate, and pay an amount fixed as bock wages. alleged to bo duo to plaintiff "undef tho Carpenters' Award, came up for consideration. After full discussion the conelusion arrived at was that the only remedy at this stage would be for Mr.: Dixon and his friends to pay tlAj amount ordered.
