A . oalHng on the Governor to resume possession of the lands and - minerals held by the Blackball Company was carried; also • tho following "This meeting .views with alarm and 1 disapproval the action of the Hon. Mr. Millar in denying the Blackball miners , employment on Government raihvays.and ■ we consider such introduction of the boy- ; ;.ebtt by the Government is tyrannical in tho extreme and a violation of tho liberty of'the taxpayer to obtain; equal opportunity ;of employment." . ■ ' There were about 150 people present.
