A SURPRISING RECORD. Tho \ .M.C.A. Cricket' Club achieved a surprising record of success-last season. .fourteen 'senior. games under tho Boys' League were played, of which the Associat|ons team won 13, and lost 1 by 3 runs on the first innings. , Junior A team played 15 matchcs, winning 14, and losing 1. . Junior B played 15, winning 9 and losing 6. Altogether, out of 44 games played, 36 were w*on and 8 lost. Trophies were presented last night, comprising two cups and 31 medals. . ' During the season the cljib's teams won 18 gamds by over an innings. No team in the Boys' League mado 100 runs against them, while the Association's teams maue 100 and over 21 times. They also got their' opponents cut for under 20 runs ten'times. Only four players, in the League, outside of tho 1.M.C.A., have scored 50 runs and over, while tho Association's players have scored 50 and over ten times. Grimmott was the most sucessful bowler, securing 68 wickets. Mr. J. M. A. Ilott, vice-president of tho 'club, entertained tho boys at tea last evening. A'report containing the above record was road by Mr. George Adair, tho club's coach, and greeted with applause.
