The Now Zcalanders scored - consistently, making several fives and fours. , Wallace, M'Gibbon, Sain, Findlay, 26; opponents, 17. Neaves, Gibson, Smith, Waddell, 32; opponents, 22. Tho locar skipper, Slatt-er,, is an exchampion. Tho game onded under electric light, tho novelty of which appealed to the Now Zealandors. . ( , Previous to the beginning of , play the visitors were welcomed, by the president of tho club (Mr. Skinnor),. and wore cheered.; At tho adjournment at 4 o'clock Mr. Skinnor cordially welcomed tho visitors, on behalf of tho local cricket, football, and bowling .clubs, and Mr. Stranguard (Mayor), on-behalf of the citizens. Felicitous references were reciprocated by Messrs. Waddell and Allnutt.
