It is said that little "Princess Mary, daughter of the Priiiep of Wales, is to have tho advantages of a girls' school, instead of being taught by governesses. During the last decade a'great change lias taken place ill tho attitude of. English . gentlewomen . towards girls' schools, and the modern belief is that girls can only keep abreast of tlio times by competition ivith other girls. The Princess of Wales is a firm believer in the thorougli education of girls along the most improved modern lines, and slid lias decided that her little daughter shall liavo the stimulus of competition.'.
