Ilutt Recreation Grounds: The Education Department's first innings realised-72, of which Berendsei) made2B Bowling for Agriculture, Mills : took. seven for 10, Fleming' three for 11. T. Huntingdon one for 22; for- l-.diication, \Rces six for 16, Borendson live for 35, were tho best bowlers. Agriculture, in their first -attempt, made 71' the only double-figure scorers being: Gill lo' •»l ,i is 10. In 'no -"t'Oii'l i'Liinvs of Kducation, 7S was. made, the double-figure scorers being: Dunn IS, I'oflcoiis 17, and Iteos 12. Tlio bowling analysis for Agriculture were: Hills five for 21, Luxford three for 13, and Fleming two lor 36. Agriculture, who required 80 to win, knocked up 69 lor eight wickets when stumps were drawn, and tlio match ended in a draw. • During the afternoon two fool: races, 100 yds. and a mile event, wero run off. The-former 'was won by Dunn, of the Education .Department, and (lie latter by Mr. Evans, Agricultural Department, Dunn, who conceded tho winner 25sec., being a good second.
