M'Nab, who leaves here to-morrow night, and together they will proceed to Central 0 tago. Gore will be reached on • Saturday night, and on Monday, April 6, they will leave for Queenstown. •On ..Tuesday they will visit Arrowtowii and Pembroke; oil Wednesday, Cromwell and Hawca: oil Thursday, Clyde and"' Alexandra; on I'riday, Black's Rough Ridge and Naseby ; and on Saturday thoy w.ill return to Dunedin. On Monday, April I*2, they will proceed to Lawrence; on Tuesday, to Roxburgh;'and on Wednesday, to Tapanui. . This tour will take in tho plains that havo suffered so greatly, from want of water, the object being to inspect , the country beforo giving effect to tho irrigation proposals. These proposals are to pro*, vide the necessary water to enable the' land to bo utilised, .an'd:- cultivated, and also to mako - provision for storage of' water y for mining purposes. Y■' ''■> . After leaving Central Otago, the Premier will return to Christchurch, and go on to tho West Coast, via Otira. He will be absent from Wellington about three weeks. /., Mr. M'Nab expects to bo hack in Wellington on. or about April 18. Immediately after, the Easter holidays, ho will proceed to Ohingaiti. to inspect certain lands.
