Presbyterian. : Church has awarded the- following scholarships to students who ■ passed • tlio matriculation examination in December last: Yule No. 1 Scholarship, £25. a year, for three years, R.'S. Watson, Pialding. 1 St. Paul's _Office-Bearers' (Wanganui) Scholarship, £25 a year for three years, E. J. Tippler, East Pareora. "Mary" £20 . a year for three years; J.-P; White, Pleasant Point. Somerville; No. 2 Scholarship, £20 a year for three .years, W. RafF,'Dunedin. ■ Auld Lang Syne Club Scholarship, £20 a : year for three years, J. P. Boyle, Hastings. • The committee will' endeavour to find a scholarship for D. N. M'Diarmid, New Ply. mouth, who' 'gained 432 marks when he matriculated in 1902. The Rev. G. B. Monro, Renniera, has secured a "Remuera" Scholarship of £25 a year for threo,.years, which ho wishes assigned to/Harold Peat. The committee' has agreed to this. It is'understood Mr Monro ha 3 raised somo other money for a scholarship fund. ' '
