" The Times" say's that while the Government is wiling to materially extend the statutory' period, the Opposition appear to be' determined to./resist..the Bill to the utmost;; , ■ The Church of 'Ehifiand Tompflranco'- Sooioty appears to have 1 followed the . moderato lines laid down by the, Bishop'of London, some of whose utterances wero. recently .quoted..
