OLD BOYS' CLUB. , f The tenth annual report of the WellingtUl College Old Boys' Football Club, to be presented at tho annual .meeting , to-morrow night, states that the membership totals. 109, of which 68' are activo, 39 ; honorary,'and 2 life members. During last season the-first fifteen: played 11. championship matches, of -which 4 were won, 6. were .lost, 1* drawn. -. The points for. totalled '46; against, 156. The second fifteen played . 10:' matches, of. which y 1 was won, 7 were lost, and 2 were-drawn. Points' for, >'27; against, .120. The, .third fifteen\played 7: matches,'of which I was-won, and 6 ' were lost. -*'Points : for, 21-; - against, 141,- The rather,poor, showing ; made in ' championship fixtures-is accounted, for by tho fa'ct'that a number >of 'the older players re- , tired or were transferred' from Wellington. - ' A team was sent-to Clnistchurch at',Easter ■ toi play thoV annual .match: with, the High"-' School Old Boys'; Foottoall; Club, and,' aftet a good gaiue,'was beaten by IS points to 16. A" team also went, to-Wanganui to play _the annual-match with the Wanganui Collegiato - - School' Old Boys' Football Club; and'sulferwl , 'defeat by 14 points to 3. „,' / .The club was represented by the following players, in' the • senior ' representative matches:—Messrs. W. ' Alexander, 'H. .H. , Dawson,--F. .Gardiner, and, T.' Jordan. Thanks 'are extended to, Messrs. ,J. 'P. Firth, M. C. Barriett', W. E. Bethuue, S,;R. Gawith, T. iThe seventh annual- meeting • of the. St. ' James, Football' Club was' held last night in the' St.-;' James Young- Men's ,; Bible,' Claa • room. There were: nearly 100 members pro-, sent,, 41!' new. members', being- elected. Thi, Chairman,- in his address, attributed tho siio cess of tho club to: the untiring way m which Mr. H. Roberts coached; tho varionr teams. Tho annual report congratulated tin club on its performances of. the previous year The balance-sheet showed a . credit-balance 0.. £11'2s. sd. During the evening a colloctioi ■ was made- for the: mother; of T. Carruthora: This young man;was well known on. th< running, track in Wellington, and died/about six ■ months ago. A Sports, Committee has been- appointed- to; hold a- meeting for tho benefit'of his mother. The collection realised . £2 lis. 3d. Mr. Roberts impressed- the. players to always play good clean football.
