} DESPERATE ANARCDIST. ATTACK-ON A POLICE OFFICER. BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. , New York, March 3. Irritated by the police efforts to discover, the murderer of Father Henrichs, a Catholic priest, at Denver, last month, an Anarchist gained admittance to the residence of Mr. Shippy, Chief of the Chicago Policc, and wounded Mr. Shippy's, son and his coachman. Tho desperado then shot and stabbod Mr. Shippy, who finally shot the Anarchist dead.
