At a meeting of the Port Nicholson Yacht Club last night, it was decided that the ocean race to be. sailed on March 7 should, be - open to first, second, sand third-class yachts, with fixed lead keels. Tho course is to bo round . Black Rock, leaving it on tho starboard.hand, in any wind, and returning through Chaffer's Passage. The race is to bo a handicap event, and tho entrance fee will bo 55.; Tho start was fixed for 2.30 p.m. Tho first prize will be a trophy presented r? r " anc l a silk nag presontcd by the Club,: second prize, £2; and third prize, £1. . ..
