;; : WELLINGTON CLUB CARNIVAL.. : -Arrangements' are well forward- for tho Wellington ' Club's 13th annual carnival, which will taka place at To Aro Baths to- , morrow. The cominitteo is sparing ; no effort ■to olasuro. tho succoss gathering; 'and, ; .given fine weather, a very successful meeting should result. ■ Tho number, of entries has exceeded all'expectations',' and is far in advance of those of, liny, previous year. ' The 50 yards schoolboys'. handicap has attracted ovor 50' entrants, while tho Duthie Challerigo Cup,- - which' is set 'aside', for "competition 'amongst'the primary schools of tho city and suburbs, will be swum for by teams of-four, representing - tho Terrace;' Muritai, 1 Mount Cook, Clyde. Quay, Thorndon Normal, and Te Aro Schools.
