WELLINGTON HOSPITAL BOARD
A statutory meeting of the Wellington Hospital Board .was' hold yesterday, Mrl 'J. Godber being in tho chair, and th'o''members present being Messrs. 11. C. Kirk, J. P. Luke, J. W. MfEwan, C. J. Crawford, and P. D. Moore. Tho estimates ifor tho coming year, as already published in The Dominion, wcro confirmed. Tho estimates are for the Wollington and Otaki Hospitals and the Otaki Sanatorium. Tho gross amount is £21,400, as; against £27,700 last yeir,' a decrease' of £6300. Discussion of the, new Hospitals Act was postponed,until••nbxfc'--meeting, - : v • ; In previous years it has. been tho custom of tho Board to collect the apportionments from tho local bodies, for tlio iirst quarter, on May 4; Now' tho' first' Quarter .will, fall due on April 1, the subsequent quarters being-.arrang'ed accordingly., , , : .
