The Mayor: "That's ridiculous. Wo can't go on with it until we've got tho money." Councillor Murdoch said tho plans were approved by, Mr. Gilruth, and the abattoirs would be tho most up-to-date in tho Dominion. The matter had been delayed a long time, and ho hoped it would be gono on' with at an early dato. Tho report was adopted, with an addition, referring the mattor to tho Fiuanec Committee, to consider tho question of funds for tho work.
