At a meeting of the Horticultural Society on Tuesday niglit, to consider tho advisability of holding th'e annual ilower show next month, it was, decided to adhero. to the original dates. Nearly 150 school children, together with many relations and friends, left hero yesterday morning for tho purpose of holding the annual picnic of the State, school at vWaikanae. The weather was gloriously, fine, and a good day's outing was the result.
