IS NEW ZEALAND UP TO DATE?
Sir,—l; havo travelled ■ a few of the countries of tho world, and whenever I met Now Zcalnnders they always impressed me with tho fact' that Now Zealand was tho most up-to-date country in it'. I wanted a stamp-to-night, and naturally went to the head office—the G.P.O. 'What, was my surprise to find posted up tho followingNo stamps for sale." The clerk informed mo they had sold out. Surely this, is not in keeping with up-to-dateness.—l am, etc., February 19. TRAVELLER.
