. TRAIN STRIKES A TRAP. • SERIOUS INJURIES. (BY TELEGRAPH— SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT.) Marton, February i 9 A serious accident happened at Huntcrville thismorning to Messrs. Duncan M'Lean and Charles Campion, tho Marton.and Hunterville representatives of Messrs and Company. . The' passenger train to Ta - ■ ran' into their trap at Raugatira cross; "' Jie In >so was' killed, and tho trap was smashed to pieces. Mr. Campion is suffering from shock only, but Mr.' M'Lean is still unconscious, aval his condition is serious, as . he is bleeding badly from the left ear." He was brought to Hunterville, and is be-ing-attended by Drs. Smith, of Hunterville, and Christie, of Wanganui. WAGONER KILLED. (BY TKLEGUAril —riIF.SS ASSOCIATION.)' Auckland, February 19. A telegram from Hokianga Heads states that Wi Ngakuru has been killed by tho capsizing of a timber wagon lie was driving. Advice received by, the police, States that the remains of tho Body of a child, apparently of premature birtli, were found on the Petone beach yesterday evening.- Inquiry is being made 1 into the matter
