Carter, the Magician; is a wonderful mah • He adds to the .excellence of his striking en. tertainment a genial flow of "patter," which serves as the sauce for his various dishes,-and is one of the features of the evening. The "astral" hand trick, "the magical divorce," the famous "Davenport" cabinet trick, so called after its originators, and the Chinese magic combine to form a most excellent and entertaining programme. The ' finishing touches to the magical performances are supplied by the unique "Flyto" act, and also by the excellent display of thought-transmission given by.Mjss. Abigail Price.. A matinee performance will be tendered on Saturday afternoon. ' THEATRE ROYAL. .. ' Wonderland was "en fete last. night, when, a striking display of Chinese lanterns was added to the numerous attractions of this diversified ontertainment. From to-day a special timetable has . been arranged for trams .to ■ Wonderland on Saturday arid Wednesday afternoons. Special cars will leave : Coiirtenay Place between 2 and 3 o'clock at intervals of ten minutes, and in the evenings a most: frequent service will be run if .required. Special cars leave Wonderland for the city every, night between D.-15 and 10.15. To-morrow there .will be the aerial Roman ring act, and special gymnastic displays. - - MOONLIGHT ' EXCURSION.
